High winds this morning and growing waves once again. We passed on the walk this morning and managed to do a few chores around the house. Mid morning we ventured out to the Outlet Mall a mile away to take care of some exchanges and of course purchases. Everyone found at least one thing.
At noon we sought out a new dining experience along the water. We landed at the Harbor Docks Restaurant in Destin. It is a rustic looking old building with plain weather worn boards on the outside and not someplace that you might normally pick out. However the parking lot was packed with local cars so we knew it was good. The restaurant was full of people, clean and ancient. The food was excellent and we had great window seats looking out over the bay. We all had a Pineapple Cilantro Grouper for lunch: excellent. We highly recommend the place.
After lunch we ventured out to Grand Boulevard in Sandestin for a bit more shopping for the girls. The guys went to the Wine Store to just look around and then ventured over to the Kilwin's Ice Cream Parlor for a treat. Another great find.
We returned home and the girls proceeded to continue to clean the condo and the guys did their part by getting out of the way and going for a walk.
A quiet evening with Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese at home and and evening of TV and reading in the condo.
All in all, a pretty quiet day.
